Dalanah is a professional astrologer, certified meditation teacher, practicing Stoic and Buddhist, and former scientist. During her time in school she was focused on learning hard science. After a decade of being a scientist, she transitioned those skills of critical analysis and pattern recognition to assist her in navigating a more spiritual landscape. She often credits her days in the laboratory for allowing her to view the world with a non-bias lens, as well as her ability to blend reason and intuition.

After leaving the laboratory Dalanah set out to become a Dharma teacher. She has worked as a professional astrologer since 2020, helping thousands of people from all over the world see their Fate through an astrological lens via consultations, private tutoring, and podcasting. Her podcast, Moon Matters, is a labor of love that helps people learn about astrology in a fun and relaxed way. As a Stoic, Dalanah views astrology as an intimate interpretation of Fate and always strives to honor the ancient practice.

Presently, Dalanah holds a certificate to teach mindfulness meditation and is continuing to deepen her Buddhist studies. Her goal is to not only become a Dharma teacher, but to take the vows of the Bodhisattvas and be a lay Buddhist priest. Helping people embrace Fate and navigate the human experience with grace is her ultimate goal.

A Stoic Mind

Stoicism is the philosophy by which I live my life, so it's no surprise that I bring Stoic concepts into my astrological teachings and meditation classes. One of the big Stoic teachings is "Amor fati" which means "love of Fate". To engage with astrology, tarot, or divination of any sort is to dance with Fate. I view every birth chart analysis as an opportunity to honor Fate itself, a job I don't take lightly.

A Heart on Fire

Meditation and philosophy can seem like "boring" subjects. I find that it's more about how they're taught than the subject matter itself. When we embark on your mindfulness journey together, I'm aiming to ignite the Fire in your heart, not put it out. Through meditation we can calm the mind, cut through the noise, and see the reality of our true nature with clarity. It's with a calm and fortified mind that we can begin to embrace the human experience. Let's work together to honor who you truly are.
